Secondary insulations are crucial for protecting electrical and electronic equipments. At Atlas Insulations, we specialize in manufacturing these insulations using resin-based materials like alkyd, phenolic, epoxy, polyurethane, silicone, polyamide, and polyamide-imide, combined with non-reactive organic solvents.
Atlas varnishes can be applied using all common techniques, including dipping, brushing, spraying, and advanced methods like dip and oven baking, conveyorized dip and bake systems, and vacuum impregnation.
Curing can be performed at room temperature (with air dry method) or by heating to the required temperature (for oven baking method).
By carefully selecting appropriate parameters, Atlas Insulations, ensures robust protection against environmental factors which may lead to potential damage, Ultimately enhancing the performance and reliability of electrical and electronic components.
Class E insulating varnishes is designed to withstand operating temperatures up to 120°C (248°F), making it ideal for a variety of electrical applications. This varnish provides excellent electrical insulation, moisture resistance, and thermal stability, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments. Commonly used in motors, transformers, and other electrical equipment, Class E varnish protects windings and components from damage caused by heat, dust, and moisture. Its strong adhesion enhances the longevity of electrical devices, while its flexibility allows for expansion and contraction without cracking. Overall, Class E insulating varnish is essential for maintaining the efficiency and durability of electrical machinery.
